If you’re not paying attention to the unfolding marketing campaign for Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights 4, you’re missing out. While the domestic parks have trended away from Icon characters in recent years, they’re going strong at the Singapore event. The event’s first year featured transplanted Icon “The Director,” who was followed by original creations “The Puppetmaster” and the “Sisters of Evil.” And HHN 4 looks to continue the Icon tradition in grand fashion.
The 2014 marketing push began with a voting campaign for fans to choose the “Next Minister of a Secret Government Agency.” The winner of this campaign was announced today, and military general Jonah Goodwill defeated business tycoon Walter Bale. And it didn’t take long for Goodwill’s true colors to start emerging.
