“You’re such a scaredy-cat!”
You’ve heard it many times. Likely used it to refer to one of your friends. Or perhaps you even consider yourself one.
According to Dictionary.com, scaredy-cat is synonymous with fraidy-cat, or quite simply put, someone who is easily frightened. Ding, ding, ding! Yes — that would be my picture next to the definition!
Movies, sounds, haunted houses — they all scare the bejeezus out of me. But, if I’m honest, I secretly love it. (Shhh…don’t tell).
That’s what makes Halloween Horror Nights 25 such a great experience. Here’s a few tips to get you through the night (alive, and with dry pants) and not let fear get the best of you!
TRAVEL IN PACKS
Frights come by way of almost nearly everything surrounding you once you’ve entered the front gates at Universal Studios Florida. Darkness all around, fog, eerie music and scareactors. YIKES! It’s best to stick to the middle of your group, think happy thoughts and remember, scareactors can’t hurt you… right?PLAY ALONG & HAVE FUN
This is really what it’s all about for me. Sure, my scaredy-cat nature gets the best of me at moments, but spending that time with my good friends — who are usually laughing with me… or maybe at me? — while escaping reality for a few hours is what makes for a memorable night. Others might have a different definition of fun!THE FOOD (AND DRINKS!)
There are plenty of Halloween-themed food and beverage items located throughout the event experience, but one of my favorite things are the themed goodies. Especially the ALL-NEW Scareactor Dining Experience. It’s a deFRIGHTful way to fuel up for the fear and to meet the scareactors in a less-menacing setting to ease yourself into the event. Then, stay full throughout the experience (ok and maybe have some Jack’d Up Carnage) so you will have plenty of energy to run away.STAY AT AN ON-SITE HOTEL
As always, staying in the “heart of the horror” has its major advantages. One of the main ones, in my opinion, is not having to drive home but simply crawling… er, walking… or catching complimentary transportation back to your room. Plus, there are all those great benefits for staying on-site, like Early Park Admission one hour before the theme park opens in the morning. There’s also a very special entrance to Halloween Horror Nights 25 for on-site guests — which might make you feel very RIP… I mean, VIP. Check here for Halloween Horror Nights 25 on-site hotel availability.I hope these tips help my fellow scaredy-cats experience an incredible event. Never fear! Everyone can enjoy the spectacle of #HHN25!
